Over 65 million people around the world have been forced to flee from their homes to escape famine, war, and the effects of climate change. We are now witnesses to the greatest human displacement since World War II.
In his documentary, Human Flow, artist and activist Ai Weiwei, is not so interested in investigating causes but instead appeals to our soul by giving us a visual expression of human suffering on a global scale. The only response can be ‘to love our neighbors as ourselves’ and help our brothers and sisters in any way we can with both charity and justice. For those who subscribe to Netflix the documentary is available there.
