A little goes a long way …


Steaming hot food was available for the homeless yesterday morning in Pomona, CA, as overnight temperatures dipped into the 30’s.
S Maria Louise Edwards explained that the shelter won’t open until December 8. She said, “There wasn’t even a cup of coffee left over this morning, and the piping hot soup was the favorite!”

Sister Maria Louise shared this picture of the tent city that has spread in Pomona. Sister Carol said that in all the nine years that the Spirituality Center Among the Poor has been ministering in Pomona, she has never seen anything like this.
